I’ve written numerous times about how much I love reconnecting with old friends through photography, and this session is the perfect example of that! Erin and I were in the same sorority in college, lived in the house at the same time, etc. I was so happy for her when she announced on Facebook that she was expecting a baby. I’d watch her status for her updates occasionally, but I was surprised when a couple of months ago she posted that their baby was coming much sooner than expected. Little Frankie was born at 33 weeks and was a tiny little thing when she was born. She was perfect in every way though, and just had to get bigger before she could come home! That wonderful day came a couple of weeks ago, and I was thrilled when Erin messaged me about doing photos! Frankie was due to arrive just last week, so she’s still only a little over 7 lbs, but she was wide awake for a large part of our session and totally content in her momma’s arms. I loved watching Erin with her. It is such a neat thing to watch someone that you haven’t seen in awhile in the amazing new role of motherhood. Erin – It was SO SO great to see you! I couldn’t be happier for you, and I feel so honored to have captured these sweet moments for you!
They didn’t know if they were having a boy or a girl and waited to do some personalization until after she arrived. Her room is SO adorable!!
She is beautiful!
Love your lighting in all of these shots! Great Job Chesley
She is too precious! I know that E and D are so glad to have her home!!
