I was in Louisville over the weekend to visit family and photograph a wedding. I also met up with these 5 cousins on Sunday morning. It was FREEZING!! I felt so bad for them. They were taking jackets on & off for the photos, and “grinning & bearing” the cold. I absolutely LOVED this location! I have a feeling that photographers in that area probably do too. Another showed up while we were there, and I’m sure we weren’t the only ones that day. It’s such quaint part of town!
This post is super picture heavy, so here we go…
This girl was a mess :-)!
These 2 are twins, and about to celebrate their 6th birthday. I love them in their little hats!
Seriously, how sweet is this little face?!
Sisters!!
Getting 5 kids to look the same direction is next to impossible. I love it when their personalities shine through though – looking at the camera or not!
I was amazed at how much the leaves have changed just a few hours north. I’ve noticed very few leaves on the ground here – especially to this extent. This sight, of course, made me very happy! We had to get some with the leaves!
This was actually my test shot on her & ended up being a favorite!
Showing a little sibling love!
Another attempt at a group shot- ha! The leaves, mud, and each other were a little too much distraction!
So, we played in the leaves instead!
Thanks you guys! It was great meeting you! Hope you love your previews!
These faces are so genuine!! I especially love the one of jack alone smirking…and I see you got his signiture wink! Katie probably would have taken pictures with you all day!
I love how these turned out. It was a very chilly day, but you’d never know it from those smiles. I am excited to get these into frames all over the house for fall. Thanks so much Chesley, you did a beautiful job.
Grandma and Baba think the pictures are fabulous. We will be updating all of our picture frames! Especially love the group picture – it is so rare to get a shot like this.
