Special Friends – Lebanon, TN Children’s Photographer

As I sit here pondering what to say to begin this post, too many things come to mind.  If I type the words that flow naturally, I might start crying.  Instead of saying those things, I’m just going to say that I love these folks, and I miss them terribly!  This past weekend, I took the kiddos to visit them in Arkansas, where they moved to a little over a year ago.  It was my first long solo road trip with both of them, and let’s just say I was nervous.  It wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it might be, and it was worth it to see these two smiling faces (and their mom’s too).  Their dad actually came here while I was there, so we had a little girl time, and of course, we had a little picture time.

We were cutting it close with the light, and literally took the kids out of creek clothes and threw them in nice ones to get in a few shots before sunset.  Lucky for me, they were super cooperative, not to mention adorable!

My kids were running wild while I did these.  I totally lose track of anything but my subjects when I’m shooting..not a good thing when there’s a crazy 5 year old, and fearless 2 year old close by.  Grant was dying to be in the pictures, so I let him scoot in at the very end.  Claire refused.  I wish his smile was his “real” smile and he was out of his post creek look..ha!

Thank you, as always, for your hospitality!  I’ve been asked about 500 times today where Parker & Kate are, and when are we coming back!  It will not be another 11 months..promise :-)!  Hope you love them!
