Riverwood Mansion Bridal Portraits – Lauren

I have been SO SO anxious to show these photos from my time with Lauren back in May!!  Though you wouldn’t know it since their wedding was almost 3 weeks ago, and I’m just now getting around to it!!  Blogging has completely taken a back seat to my sanity these days, and it probably will for awhile.  I have SO many things rolling through my head that I want to blog, but time, y’all, it is so hard to find it!!!  Summer feels like it is slipping through my fingers, and I am in complete denial that school starts 3 weeks from Monday!!  That’s right, it will still be July, yet my little man will be starting 2nd grade at a new school and Claire begins her last year as a “pre-schooler!!”  Someone help me!  It’s going to be ugly next year!!  On another note, I spent last week on the gulf coast with my family and had the best time..well as soon as Tropical Storm Debby moved out!  I read 3 whole big girl books and didn’t touch a picture or a computer the entire time I was gone!!  It was MARVELOUS!!  But now, I’m back in the real world, and it seems the computer is calling my name as it’s filled with lots of wedding goodness from the month of June that I haven’t shared at all!!  So prepare yourselves for lots of good stuff to come!!  Hopefully sooner, rather than later, but I make no promises as lately I haven’t done so great at keeping them where the blog is concerned :)!

Now, onto Lauren!!  This girl is stunning!  Of course, I already knew that from her engagement session, but when she showed up for her bridal portraits at Riverwood Mansion, I’m pretty sure I had to remind myself to close my mouth as it hung open!  Her dress was so glamourous, and her shoes, earrings and bracelet were all full of sparkle as well!  The weather was a little iffy and we had to head indoors a few times to wait out the sprinkles, but it all turned out perfectly.  Riverwood has SO many different places to shoot that we could’ve shot in the bathroom the entire session, and been just fine! To make things even better, my awesome friend and photographer, Rebecca Walker came along with me again and got some stellar shots and was so much help!  Then, we celebrated with dinner at Rosepepper!  Such a good good night!!  Lauren & Daniel’s wedding at Riverwood Mansion was amazing as well, and you won’t want to miss it, so be on the lookout for it along with lots of other fresh, fun things!!  Happy weekend friends!!  No weddings for me, but I’ll be busy shooting 10 sessions in 2 days…call me crazy ;)!!
