Nashville Wedding Photographer – Bottom View Farm Wedding – Kristin & Austin

You may remember seeing Kristin & Austin’s engagement session at Bottom View Farm on the blog a few months ago or even Kristin’s senior photos from several years ago!!  It’s hard to believe she’s a married woman now!!  I knew from their engagement session how perfect these two are together and absolutely couldn’t wait until their wedding day!  The wedding was also held in Portland, TN at Bottom View Farm.  The plan had been for the wedding to be outside and the reception to be in the barn.  The skies weren’t fully cooperating that day, and it sprinkled on and off all day long, so the decision was made to move the ceremony into the barn as well.  Marc with Vera + Harper Events did a fantastic job setting the stage for a perfect Tennesee barn wedding and then doing a quick change to the reception set up!  Thankfully, we had enough dry weather to do all of the photographs all around the property of the farm before it poured rain during the reception.

When we were at Bottom View for Kristin & Austin’s fall engagement session, the pumpkin patch was in full swing!  Since their wedding was held in May, they were in prime strawberry season!  To celebrate the sweetness of the season, Kristin used lots of strawberry details in her wedding décor.  Lester Farms provided the strawberries seen here and they’re SO yummy!!  I was lucky enough to take some home with me and whipped up homemade strawberry ice cream!!  I’m already looking forward to next year’s strawberry season!

I say this all of the time, but I genuinely loved being a part of Kristin & Austin’s wedding day.  These two knew very quickly that they were meant to be together, and their excitement about spending forever together is fun to watch!!  Enjoy a little glimpse into their perfect wedding day!
