My Kiddos – A Photo Session!! Lebanon, TN Children’s Photographer

So this post is pretty much just for my satisfaction because it’s of my children!  Since I’ve been really really busy the past few months, I have barely taken any pictures of them!  That is so not me, and not a habit I want to start!  I decided a week or so ago that I was going to get them dressed one afternoon and do a little session with them and try not to kill them.  Photographing your own children is Hard with a capital H!!  They know just how to push your buttons, and unfortunately I am not nearly as patient with them as I am with all of my clients’ sweet children!

Today, they were actually excited for their photos with me because they thought we were going to some special place where I take pictures – ha!  I guess they think I go the same place each time I leave them!  They were both looking cute as can be and the weather was amazing, so we headed down to a random little place next to our gym and got our photos on! 

Grant started out great, but deteriorated quickly!  He thinks it’s hilarious to open his mouth as wide as it will go & fake laugh when I want to take his picture!

Claire, on the other hand, was a posing queen, and I got some of my favorite shots of her ever today!

I’m a little obsessed with her wardrobe, and this ensemble is the perfect example.  I put her in things I could never pull off (skinny jeans anyone?) and she looks adorable.  She was SO proud of her boots!!

These are actually not my favorites of them together because I suspect one of the favorites will end up on our Christmas card!  Stay tuned to find out in December :-)!!

Grant wanted to touch the water so badly!  It absolutely drove me crazy, but I satisfied him by at least taking his picture next to it!

I’m in love with everything in this photo but one thing!!  She has a hair that’s falling on the wrong side & it looks longer than everything else…argh!  I love it anyway!

 Hope you enjoyed Grant & Claire’s appearance on the blog!  I have to say my attempt today went MUCH better than the last time I had an organized session with them.  I have a feeling that Claire will be my little muse very very soon!  Grant is just a”musing,” but that’s ok, I kinda like it that way!!
