Lane & Matt got married this past Saturday at Houston Station in Nashville. It is such a neat venue, with all sorts of amazing little spots for photos! Matt and Lane are such a fun couple, and they made sure to add lots of humor into the day! That, along with absolutely beautiful weather made this the perfect day! Of course it always helps when you have someone like Mary Alice from A Delightful Day on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly and iron out any kinks along the way!

Lane and Matt opted to do a first look so we could go ahead and do most of their photos prior to the ceremony. I loved her reaction when he turned around!

I was told that Matt had a plan for a bit of humor during the ceremony. When the minister asked if “he would,” he had to huddle with his pals to make sure he had the correct answer.

Once we were done with photos, Lane slipped into her party attire for the reception, exchanging her comfy flip flops for her dancing shoes. Then, in a move I hadn’t seen before, she removed the bottom half of her skirt! So fun!!

The father of the bride, the best man, and maid of honor all gave toasts. Each one was special and of course, funny! I wouldn’t have expected any less!

Lane and Matt, I had so much fun with you guys! You are truly one of the funnest couples I’ve had the pleasure of photographing, and your wedding day perfectly reflected your personalities!
