Kristin & Parker – the REAL post!! – Nashville & Lebanon, TN Wedding Photographer

I first showed a sneak peek from my fab session with Kristin & Parker on Thursday, but I’ve been dying to post more!  I have had a really busy few days and haven’t had time until now!  I graduated high school between Kristin’s 2 older sisters and always remembered her as their little sister.  She’s all grown up now and so beautiful!  I was so excited when she contacted me about photographing she and Parker’s October wedding!  We were finally able to nail down a date for engagement photos, and the location was extra special too.  We were able to do their session on the property where Kristin grew up.  Some folks that we go to church with now own the land and were gracious enough to let us shoot there.  It was absolutely perfect!  This kind of setting is probably my favorite.  I never thought I’d want to hang out in fields all day long, but it’s where I tend to feel at home these days!  I’m so glad she thought of this for their session because it definitely adds a sentimental touch to the session.  A storm rolled in about 3 hours before our session, but thankfully, the skies parted and gave way to some awesome light!!

For all of you couples that think you don’t want to do an engagement session, I urge you to reconsider!  I kind of talked Kristin into this session, and I think (hope) she’ll be so glad that we did it.  It really helps me to get to know the couple and to let them relax a little bit with me.  That way, by the time we get to the actual wedding day, we feel completely comfortable with one another.  These two were so much fun!!  We even had a little big visitor mid session – you’ll see her photo below.   Hope you guys had as much fun as I did!!  Can’t wait for October!
