The long awaited 2nd part of Keith & Kelly’s wedding! The day was going so well, and photos were well underway, when the skies started looking a little threatening. Shortly before the wedding was to begin, the skies opened up, and despite delaying the start time of the ceremony, there didn’t appear to be a break in the rain in the foreseeable future. While the back-up plan for the wedding was to marry under the tent, Kelly decided that she didn’t want to do that and chose instead to have their guests on the covered porch of the mansion, while she and Keith, along with the rest of the bridal party stood in the rain. I’ll admit that I was a little concerned at how this would all go down, how the photos would look, etc, but I actually really like the added interest in the photos, and the fact that you can see the guests in them. I mean those little girls watching from the porch….love their faces & little prayer hands!! Thankfully, the rain did stop for just a few minutes, and I mean like 10 just after the ceremony & we got a few photos in of the bride and groom before another downpour hit! Once everyone made it into the tent for the reception, the rain was long forgotten and a wonderful time was had by all!!
A big thanks to Keith & Kelly for allowing me to be a part of their day! I am so thankful to know you guys!!
