Keeping Up With the Joneses! – Nashville, TN Children & Family Photographer

Today was an absolutely gorgeous day, and what better way to top it off than with a photo session on a family farm?!  As I was nearing their home, all I could think was how gorgeous the light was coming through the trees and how awesome this session was going to be!

Miss Ava met me outside and was super excited to have her picture made.  Her mom said this was the first time she’d had her picture made outside since she was about 2 months old!  Mom wanted to make sure we captured the kiddos at these ages before they’re teenagers and way too cool for it :-)!  You’d never know they didn’t do this all of the time!  I love these photos!   Brother took off into the field when he thought I was done with him, so, of course, i followed him!  Unfortunately, he had a run in with a sticktight & ended up COVERED in them!  I think at one point, all 5 of us were picking them off of him!  He’s covered in them here, but I’m told this is very “him!”

Love, love, love these!!

We finished up in the field and headed down to the barn.  Nothing better than a barn as a backdrop!

Now, I’m not sure of all the correct terminology, but I know the barn had tobacco in it & it was smoking.  It was making the sunlight coming through the trees look amazing and all hazy.  I spotted it before I even got to their house, and was secretly hoping we could trek down there!  Too bad I came home smelling like I’d been in the tobacco barn..ha!!  It was worth it for these shots!

We headed over to another pasture / pond at the very end.  When we were finishing up and heading back to the house, I noticed the wall on this other barn.  I thought it was rust, but apparently it’s tobacco gum that had run down the side of the barn.  It was super cool looking!

It was so great meeting you guys!  Hope you love your sneak peek!!
