I absolutely adore bridal sessions, and almost everything about them!!! The one thing I don’t love is not being able to show the images publicly for weeks or sometimes even months! Thankfully, I’ve only had to wait a few weeks to show these, and I’ve had these images all ready to go since a few days after our shoot! Jennifer & Matthew were married this past weekend on a chilly January Saturday…one of the very few cold days we had in January! A few weeks before that, Jennifer & I met up at the Baber House in Gallatin, TN for her bridal session. I had imagined that we’d have to do the majority of her session indoor since we were shooting in early January, but we ended up with a 60 degree day and shot LOTS outside as well!
Lots of brides decide not to do bridal sessions because things can be so hectic in the weeks leading up to the wedding. They are so much fun though, and a wonderful opportunity to do a trial run for hair and make-up especially!! I also don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say they regretted doing one! Just a little something to think about! Happy (almost) Friday everyone!
You look amazing. I had a lot of fun with all of you at the wedding. It was so nice to meet you. Your wedding was beautiful and I was glad I could help out and be a part of your special day. Congrats to you both. Robyn McIsaac
These are gorgeous, Chesley! What a beautiful bride, too! I love that I did bridal portraits.. if anything so that I can look at what I used to look like pre kids..HA! Plus, the day of is so hectic. It is just easier to relax and enjoy that time in a bridal session!
