I simply don’t know where the time has gone! I feel super ancient posting these photos because, you see, I used to babysit this girl…like when she was a baby. Of course I was only 5 or so myself..hahaha! No really, I babysat her & her brother & sister waaay back in the day, and now, she’s getting married! It does not seem possible! It truly makes me realize how fast time does pass. I shared with her today that I loved babysitting them because I got to get my Little Mermaid fix at their house. I was much too old to think Little Mermaid was cool, but I did, and I’m pretty sure we watched it just about every time I was at their house. I am DYING to get my hands on a copy of it to share with my sweet girl, Claire!
Anywho…. back to Lillian & Sloan..are they adorable or what?! They’ve been together for a long time, and in March, they’ll be making it official. They were awesome & decided that they were tough enough to brave the frigid temps today for some engagement photos! Most of the snow that we had melted away in the sunshine today, but you can still see little patches of it in these. I thought it would be a little different & cool to shoot at a Christmas tree place. I absolutely love these, and I’m so glad they indulged me!
Lillian is one of the most fashionable and talented people I know. Her jewelry designs are amazing, and I have a feeling a lot of people will know her name one day!
As the sun started to fade, it started getting colder really quickly!
I’ll end with one of my favorites. I have a thing for light bokeh & I love it in this shot!
Thank you guys for being willing to freeze for a little bit! I hope it was worth it! I’m so excited about what we ended up with. You guys are true naturals in front of the camera! I am so happy for you both, and wish you a long lifetime of happiness together!!
Love these!! Great idea. 🙂
I LOVE these. They are adorable!! I cannot believe it either but I am truly happy and feel blessed to know my little sister found such a wonderful and Godly man! Thanks for sharing these so quickly. Your talent is amazing!!!
