If you’ve been following me for awhile, you may remember me posting about a workshop I went to several months ago hosted by Zach & Jody Gray of Gray Photography. At that time, I only attended the Shooting & Post Workshop and after I saw the results from the Lighting Workshop(s), I could’ve kicked myself for not going. I’d been waiting anxiously for them to announce another round of Nashville workshops, and signed up on the spot when the registration opened up.
On Monday, I attended the Lighting workshop all about using off camera flash. I’ve been super intimidated by this and honestly very scared to try it. Zach and Jody are amazing at what they do, and break it down in a way that it seems so simple! I was amazed by the images that everyone was shooting and so encouraged that with the right gear, I could actually do this! cha ching cha ching…everything in photography is so expensive!
Tuesday, I attended the Business & Marketing Workshop, and it was also amazing! They are full of great ideas and really passionate about showing their clients that they are more than just clients to them. Their genuine care for others really shines through in everything they do! I plan to put into practice some of the ideas I brough home with me, and hope that it will result in a better experience for both my clients and myself!
Anyway, I met some amazing new friends, and I am excited to follow their work as they put this knowledge to work in their own business(es). I encourage any photographers out there to attend their workshops!! These are just a few of the shots I took on Tuesday at the lighting workshop – all achieved with one softbox and zero photoshop..love it!
