Fun Family Love – Lebanon & Mt. Juliet, TN Photographer

I’ll be honest, family sessions are not the easiest thing for me.  I always tend to love the photos that show the connections, the emotions, love, etc between people the most, but I definitely feel the pressure to get the “one” photo where everyone is smiling and looking right at me.  And, let’s just be honest, y’all, that is HARD!  I don’t care who you are, if you are dealing with children, especially little ones, you have to pull out all the stops to get their attention to get just that one!  I know how stressful it is for me when I plan family photos for my own family, and my kids are not that young anymore, so believe me when I say, I know EXACTLY how aggravating it can be when your kids don’t do what YOU want them to :)!!  HOWEVER, if you can find a photographer that you trust, and give them a little latitude and just go with the flow, I do think the kids feel it, you feel it and everything turns out for the best!  You get those photos that show how your family really is, you have happy photos of the kiddos, and if you’re really lucky, you also get the “one” :)!  That’s exactly what this session was for me!  We go to church with this family, and I’ve photographed these kiddos before.  They know me, they trust me, and we had fun running all over their gorgeous yard!  Love the way these turned out, love the love they have for one another, and I’m so glad they chose me to photograph their family again!!
