My friend, Ashley, is supposed to be in bed recovering from a tonsilectomy right now. However, in a last minute change of plans, she wasn’t able to have her surgery because she was running a fever. That’s horrible luck for anyone, but she made the best of it when she wound up with a totally free weekend! We were supposed to do their family photos back in March, but I was exhausted and the day ended up being a horrible one, so we rescheduled for a time that was to be determined. When we had a few free hours this weekend, we made it work to do it then at the last second. She is the only person that I know that can throw together outfits for her entire family’s photo session in about 2 minutes and be fine with it! I love that about her, and wish I could be more like that!! We did this session in what will one day be their yard, which I think is really special. Though we’ve only known each other for a short time, I’m not sure what I did before. Their family has quickly become some of our favorite people to be around and I’m so thankful for their friendship! Our 4 kids are all CRAZY, and I will warn you now that if you see us at the beach this summer, you might want to move away…far away! Just kidding..kind of! I can’t wait for all the memories that we’ll make together!!
So, even though the kids might look a little calmer in this photo..
this one much more accurately reflects their family dynamic :)!
Emma & Braden’s grandmother was outside trying to coral the troops, and I caught a sweet moment between she and Emma…LOVE!
