Eric and Rachel were married earlier this month at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville. Eric was a groomsman in Lauren & Daniel’s wedding that I photographed last June. I remembered him from the memorable toast he gave at the reception. Lauren & Daniel’s wedding was a blast, and I always love shooting the weddings of friends of my previous brides and grooms! So, of course, I was excited when they contacted me about the possibility of shooting their wedding. These two have been living out of state, so we didn’t get to do engagement photos prior or even meet officially before the wedding day, but regardless the day flowed easily, and everyone was amazing!!
After the wedding, the bridal party headed to The Stage for a little fun before heading to the reception. Then, we all moved on to the University Club. This was my first time shooting there, and it is absolutely gorgeous and so convenient for weddings being held near downtown!! At the reception, Daniel repaid his friend with a toast of his own, and lots of laughs were had. Eric played baseball at WKU, and accordingly, the reception had a baseball theme with the bride and groom’s table featuring Hilltopper décor! Being a Western graduate myself, I, of course, loved this :)!! There was dinner, dancing, delicious cupcakes by Faboo, and lots of fun!!! I’m thrilled I got to be the one to capture Eric & Rachel’s day, and as always so thankful for my fabulous second shooter, Rebecca Walker!!
