I’m so excited to share this session!! This may top my list as one of my favorite sessions to date for a few reasons. The first is that I absolutely adore downtown Franklin. I hate that it’s as far from me as it is because I desperately want to spend some time shopping here! Every time I’m here, it’s for a session and I’m usually in a hurry to get back home or everything is closed. The other reason I loved this session is due to the subjects! Amy and Judd are just awesome! They are not only adorable, but they are so relaxed and natural in front of the camera. They told me at our initial consultation that they weren’t very serious people, and in my opinion, that usually makes for amazing photos! These two were referred to me by one of my favorite little client’s momma, and I’m so thankful she sent them my way! I cannot wait for their wedding in September!!
In a little tribute to Judd’s roots in Texas, they showed up in boots, and wanted to do a few with a western feel. I had already spotted this wall before they even told me that, so it worked out perfectly! The shot on the right is the very first one I took, and they were already relaxed. Love!!
Amy hasn’t seen this photo, but I showed it to Judd when she was changing! Girl, you are gorgeous!!
After a little wardrobe change, we just walked around downtown stopping here and there.
I was a little obsessed with this row of lanterns! I’m so glad we were there late enough for them to be lit because I love the feel of them in the background!
Just couldn’t resist this cute little shop window!
The old Franklin theatre is officially open again as of this weekend!! I can’t wait to take a night and go visit! We were lucky that while we were here, the street had pretty much totally emptied and got some cute shots around it!
Fun fact – Amy & Judd met on a blind date at Starbucks and then later on, Judd proposed at this very Starbucks that is faintly visible over Amy’s shoulder!
I had a blast with you guys!! Thanks for braving the heat like champs! Sorry it took me a few days to get your preview up, but I figured you’d need something fun to look at it on your long drive home from SD today :)! Can’t wait ’til September!!
I smiled the whole time looking through these. You totally captured Amy & Judd’s personality! 🙂 Wonderful, wonderful photos!!!
These pictures are awesome! I love seeing you two so happy!
Love Love Love these!!!! One of my favorites is the one where their foreheads are touching, and they are laughing. Beautiful job Chesley!
