I had the honor of sharing in the wedding of Amanda and Pat yesterday. Last time we were together for photos, it was absolutely freezing. Yesterday was sunny and quite warm for their beautiful wedding. They chose to get married at Assumption Church in Nashville, and it was gorgeous!! It is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen, and the perfect backdrop for a meaningful ceremony!
Amanda’s neice, Shelby, was the cutest little flower girl ever. She swore she hated pictures, but I think I know differently. She is such a little stinker!
Amanda was surrounded by family as she prepared for her big day. She and her sister are very close, and while I love my 3 brothers, made me really wish I had a sister too!
Amanda & Pat chose not to see each other prior to the ceremony, but I was able to grab a few shot of her alone in the house she got ready in.
Amanda’s flowers, by AJ’s, were gorgeous!! Pretty sure her bouquet was around 10 lbs, but it was SO amazing!
I happened to spot this little poster right outside the room all of the bridal prep was taking place in.
And then it was go time! However, Shelby wasn’t too sure she wanted to be in the spotlight. She had a little help from her daddy, and definitely got a laugh out of everyone present.
I know, firsthand, that Pat was a little nervous. However, as he watched his bride come down the aisle, he didn’t show it a bit.
I loved watching Amanda and Pat during the mass exchange little looks of love with one another :)!
And as I said, this was one GORGEOUS church!!
Yay! They’re married!
We cleared everyone out after the wedding for a few photos of the bride and groom before the reception.
And a few of the bridal party!
We then took a little ride back to my end of town for their dinner reception. They had enough cake for 6x’s the amount of guests they had! I won’t say I’m sorry about that, since I was the proud recipient of some leftovers! It was SO good!! I love cake, but especially white wedding cake, so I happily took some off of their hands!
I snagged this little miss for a few minutes during a break in the festivities and got some really sweet shots of her. Here’s just one of those.
Then it was time for the toast!
Someone couldn’t wait for the toast though (don’t worry, her’s is grape juice)!
One of Pat’s brothers proposed a very sweet toast to the happy couple!
I’ll end with this little series of photos that I saw from across the room right before I left. I love the way they are looking at one another in these!
Congratulations you guys! Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your big day! I’m so happy to have been there! I hope you have a wonderful week of relaxation!!
