Alison & Drew – Engaged!! – Nashville & Lebanon, TN Engagement & Wedding Photographer

I met up with Alison & Drew one evening last week for some engagement photos!  We’ve had the hardest time nailing down a time to do them, and I happened to have a cancellation that they were able to squeeze into!  Love it when the stars align like that!  These two are getting married in a few short months, and will likely be moving pretty far away shortly thereafter.  Because of that, they wanted their engagement photos to be reflective of Nashville, so what better place to shoot than downtown?!  We got started at the state capitol and then strolled all around!

Alison has the best smile & laugh!  Love this one!!

These two are also HUGE Predators fans and pretty bummed that they likely won’t be around next season.  They brought their jerseys to throw a little Predator love into their session!

We were getting into that awesome part of the day when it’s still light enough for photos, but getting dark enough to see the neon signs really light up!

By accident one day, Alison discovered this little street on Vandy’s campus that goes by the same name as her fiance’!  We rushed over there before we totally ran out of light to get a few shots of them with “their” sign!

There happened to be a little green area right where we parked and on a whim, I said let’s do a few here.  Of course, they’re some of my very favorites from the evening!

 Allison is also a tree lover!  When we talked about where their wedding would be, she said she had to find the best tree at her venue :)!  So of course, we had to incorporate this into the session.  Love this one too!!

 I had so much fun with you guys, and I’m even more excited about your wedding now!!  I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you guys!!
