Last night, I met up with some friends from church and their kiddos to try to get a few new shots of their blonde-haired, blue-eyed brood. These two are so so shy & quiet, but last night they were totally hamming it up. They are about the same distance apart as my two, and the way they interact totally reminds me of Grant & Claire.
I know mom was stressing a little bit about the funny faces, etc. & I can totally relate because I have been there with my own! But, I just want to tell all of you moms out there that you shouldn’t worry….I do not stress out at your session, and you shouldn’t either. Kids will be kids, and that’s ok. We almost always end up at least a few great photos, and if we don’t, we’ll try it again later. It’s good to just let them be themselves, say and do funny things and get some natural smiles. I promise they’re better than you think, so relax & have fun & they will too!!
Both of our boys will be starting kindergarten in the fall, which is so hard to believe! Where did the time go?! Here’s Dillon looking all big!

And this was right before they fell to the ground from hugging so hard, crushing the poor begonias underneath..ha!
There were some MASSIVE fish in this pond. When we walked up to it, we must of spooked them because a lot of splashing & flopping transpired. The pond is waaaay down since earlier in the spring due to the extreme heat & dry weather we’ve been having. It’s crazy to me that we had that crazy flood & now seem to be in drought mode.
