One of the happiest babies I know turned one this week! He smiles every time I talk to him, and is just so easy going! His momma & daddy have no clue how lucky they are…or maybe they do :)! Kelli amazes me with her organization, creativity, and ability to really take it all in and enjoy each and every stage. Even though I have several years on her, I am constantly inspired and reminded by her actions to enjoy my children just as they are right at this moment. My daughter has even taken notice and named one of her dolls after her..hilarious! That being said, it should come as no surprise that this little guy is pretty much always beaming! He was in awesome spirits today, and it definitely shows!!

Not only have I gotten to know Connor over this past year, I have really gotten to know Kelli too. If what I’m thinking is right, I’m pretty sure she will love this shot as much as I do. It was totally an accident..trying to meter for his skin in the next shot. However, it’s hands down one of my favorites from our time together today!

We have had the worst weather the past week or two, but thankfully today was absolutely gorgeous. We’d been talking about shooting his 1 year photos in a field for months, and after all of the rain we were really concerned it would be too wet. Thankfully, it dried out alot today and we all made it through virtually mud free!

Kelli & Matt – I hope you love these as much as me! I was giddy when I was proofing them! I’m so glad that Matt joined us today too! I love me some sweet family shots :)!! I am thankful for your friendship and all of the ways that you show your love for your sweet boy, others around you, and most of all for God. Thank you for trusting me (when I didn’t even trust myself) to capture your little guys’ first year in pictures! You guys have truly been a blessing to me!!
Chesley. Your sweet words (that I don’t deserve!) made me cry. God has truly blessed ME by bringing your friendship into my life! As for those pictures??? I just thought we needed a bigger house for all the toys. We need a bigger house so I can have a room full of these pictures! Matt asked me what my favorite one was and seriously, every single picture is! They captured his sweet personality so well and I love that there is a story behind all of them. Thank you so much for sharing your God given talent with us!

Oh my goodness. He is just too cute! I adore them all, and I especially love how his little tuft of hair sticks up on top (reminds me of another sweet one year old boy I know) 🙂 his haircut is SO PRECIOUS!
