If one feels the need of something grand, something infinite, something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a little baby when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shining on its cradle.

I got to photograph Maddox for the 2nd time today. The last time he was only about 2 months old, and my has he changed. This little guy lives FAR, FAR away, and I’m so glad his mom contacted me about doing 9 month photos while they were in town. His eyes are AMAZING! I don’t know how many times I said that while he was here. He is such a beautiful little baby, and when he left the “fever” was in full effect if you know what I mean!!
He’s still gumming it at 9 months, and look at that smile!
Fun fact pf the day – the wooden crates I’ve been using were ever so generously given to me by his grandmother. I casually mentioned that I was looking for some, and the next day I had some! As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve put them to good use lately, and cannot thank them enough!!
And, he’s off! Maddox is quite the crawler!!
I love, love, love this shot of him in his little Santa hat!!
Lisa, thank you so much for getting in touch with me again! I loved seeing your little guy. He is absolutely precious!!
These are so precious Chesley!!! His eyes are definitely amazing! 🙂
