My favorite time of the year was here & gone in a flash and to say I’m not mourning it a little bit would be a straight up lie. Before I really got into photography, October and the first part of November slipped by virtually unnoticed. Now, I see color EVERY single place I go. I anxiously await those first yellow and red leaves and get almost giddy when I start seeing them. It’s so amazing the things you can see when you’re really looking. I have developed obsessions with certain yards around town and truth be known, have even considered knocking on doors to see if I can shoot in certain places. I go out of my way to drive by these certain places just to get one more glimpse into fall in their neck of the woods. I have been so busy these past 2 months, and have had the honor to capture so many sweet families during this time. I’m so thankful for the beautiful weather & gorgeous colors that have been all around us. A couple of weeks ago when I arrived at a session a few minutes early, I couldn’t resist some nature photos. As the beautiful foilage falls to the ground and the golds and reds turn to brown, I’ll be thankful for the few weeks I got to enjoy them and look forward to our visits next year!
