NBB -“never before blogged” Nashville, TN Children’s Photographer

This session was almost 4 whole months ago – good grief!!  I have been meaning to blog it for quite sometime, and just haven’t ever made it to actually doing it!  This session was planned under pretty tight time constraints, and one little guy made a quick trip down from KY to meet up with his cousins.  It ended up raining the day of our session, and even through out some of it.  Needless to say, rain, grass, and beautiful handmade outfits (by their grandmother) don’t necessarily mix real well. 

We met at Ellington, and there were so many great spots to choose from, but not utilizing the grass and even needing to be undercover made it all the more challenging.  We ended up with some great shots anyway.  I definitely had my work cut out for me with two (2) year olds, but this big guy was quite the poser!  He was pullin’ out all the senior picture poses at only 5, and totally cracked me up!

I was warned that this little guy is busy, and he was, but it worked.  I love this shot of him in action!

I am so into eyes these days.  I can’t look at a person without noticing their eyes.  Heaven forbid they happend to have a catchlight in it when I look at them…it gives me this uncontrollable urge to grab my camera..what is that?!  Eyes and skies – I am officially obsessed with them :-)!

So…even though sweet Carolina isn’t smiling here, I love her very direct eye contact!
