Party in the Park! – Franklin, TN Birthday Party Photographer

Little Carter man celebrated his birthday recently, and I was lucky enough to attend his adorable little party!  Although a little windy, the day was perfect for a party at the park!  His mom got all creative and made his cake and treats!  She did a really good job, especially given that she’d never done it before!

Carter really enjoyed his party, but I think he had the most fun on the swings!  He was full of smiles when he was on them!

Present time was probably a close second though.  He was so funny checking everything out!  I bought him his first pair of crocs, and they were a hit..ha!

And then, it was cake time!  This is usually pretty funny at 1 year old parties.  You just never know how they’re going to react.  Carter actually did really well – he kept his hat on, tried the icing, and didn’t cry.  That’s about the best you can ask for!

Of course, he saved a little room for ice cream too!

And back to the swings he goes!

Carter has a little obsession with his daddy’s sunglasses, which I’m pretty sure are too nice for a curious little guy to play with.  Everytime he picked him up, he’d yank them off of his face.  Love this photo of one of those moments!
